Volunteer Opportunities for Families in the DMV

Celebrate Make A Difference Day

By Natasha Bethea Goodwin - Macaroni KID District Heights Publisher October 19, 2022

October 22 is Make a Difference Day. This national holiday is a time for us to come together and give back to our communities.  Whether it means helping a neighbor in need or donating food to a shelter, anything you can do to help the lives of others goes a long way.

In celebration of this important day, Macaroni Kid District Heights has put together a list of local volunteer organizations that have opportunities that you can do with your families to give back and help others in need.  We hope you check these out and bring joy to someone else in need.

Let's make a difference!
